What this portal stores, who can see it, and how long it is kept.
What we store
Your account (email, display name, a one-way password hash), the profile you build, the documents generated from it, your applications with the snapshot sent to each employer, your automatic-application settings and decision history, posts, comments, messages and reports. IP addresses are stored only as keyed hashes for security and rate limiting.
Who can see it
Your profile is private unless you turn on recruiter discoverability. When it is on, HR users who belong to a company can see your professional profile, but not your date of birth, nationality or work-authorisation facts. When you apply, the company receives your profile snapshot, documents and answers, including contact details. Messages are visible only to the two participants; moderators can see a single message only after it has been reported, and each such view is logged.
How long we keep it
Your data is kept while your account exists. Withdrawn or rejected applications are deleted after 365 days. Document previews are deleted after a day. Automatic-application decision logs are deleted after 180 days. You can download all your data or delete your account at any time from Account settings; deletion removes your profile, documents, applications, posts and comments, and messages you sent remain in the other person's inbox shown as "Deleted user".
Services we use
The site runs on its own server and does not use paid or third-party analytics, advertising, AI or email APIs. Email is sent through the site operator's own SMTP server.
